该项目先向对方直接申请（申请网上稍后公布），录取后完成ehall上的登记，及其他相关手续。

The CSST Summer Program is a UCLA PhD recruitment and  research training program. Therefore, we seek applicants who possess all of the  following qualities:

• Strong  interest in UCLA PhD career

• Outstanding academic  achievement

• Research  experience from any background

• High  English proficiency (TOEFL 79; IELTS 6.5)

• Interest  in interdisciplinary studies

• Self-motivated

• Mature  and independent personality

The tentative timeline for the recruitment process is as  follows:

Late Oct 2018: Program Announcement and Application  Submission

ØStudents submit  applications to CSST (link to online application will be provided soon)

oApplication link  will be announced in a few weeks (our website is under reconstruction)

ØApplications will close around late November

oSpecific date will be noted on the application

oThere will be a non-refundable application fee of $80 per applicant

Early Dec 2018: First-round Selection  Announced

ØCSST organizes  admission committee to review all applications

ØInvitations will be  sent to selected applicants for intervie

Late December 2018 to mid-January 2019:  Interviews/Second-round Selection

ØCSST sends UCLA  faculty members to major cities in China and interview second round applicants  in-person

Feb 2019: Final Decisions

ØCSST announces the  admitted applicants for the 11^th annual cohort of CSST Summer Program
