复旦大学中国语言文学系将于2025年6月30日至7月15日在本校举办研究生国际暑期项目“中国现代文学研究前沿”。该项目邀请六位世界一流学者,围绕现代中国文学研究的三大前沿主题展开系列讲座与讨论:
From June 30 to July 15, 2025, the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Fudan University will hold the international summer program Frontiers of Modern Chinese Literary Studies. The project invites six world-renowned scholars to offer a series of lectures and discussions on three cutting-edge research themes in the field of modern Chinese literature:
模块一:“全球视野与跨语际实践”
讲授时间为7月1日至7月10日,探讨18世纪以降的东亚思想史以及晚清中国与阿拉伯世界的文学文化交流, 学者及讲题为:
林少阳(澳门大学历史系特聘教授):全球史视野下的中国与东亚
韩嵩文(Michael Gibbs Hill)(威廉·玛丽学院 Vera Barkley 讲席教授):翻译与十九世纪以降的中国-阿拉伯世界文学关系
Module I: “Global Perspective and Trans-Lingual Practices”
To be held from July 1 to July 1o. This module explores the intellectual history of East Asia since the 18th century and the literary and cultural exchanges between Late Qing China and the Arab world. It features:
Shaoyang Lin (Distinguished Professor of History at the University of Macau): China and East Asia from the Global Perspective
Michael Hill (Vera Barkley Professor of Modern Languages and Literatures at William & Mary): Translation and Chinese-Arabic Literary Relations Since the 19th Century
模块二 “媒介技术与科学想象”
讲授时间为7月1日至8日,聚焦媒介技术如何塑造现代中国文学,以及科幻文学在20世纪中国所激发的想象和实践,学者及讲题为:
Andrew Jones(加州大学伯克利分校 Louis B. Agassiz 讲席教授):细读、悉听、狂想:作为媒介的现代中国文学
宋明炜(威尔斯利学院讲席教授):科幻文学与后人类想象
Module II: “Media Technology and Scientific Imagination”
To be held from July 1 to July 8. This module focuses on how media technology has shaped modern Chinese literature and the imaginative possibilities inspired by science fiction literature in 20th-century China. It features:
Andrew Jones (Louis B. Agassiz Professor in Chinese at UC Berkeley): Close Reading, Attentive Listening, and Thinking Far Away: Modern Chinese Literature as Medium
Mingwei Song (Professor of Chinese at Wellesley College): Science Fiction and Post-Human Imagination
模块三 “情感研究与近代文学”
讲授时间为7月9日至14日,探讨现代“情教”在雅俗之间以及各种媒介之间的演变过程,学者及讲题为:
陈建华(复旦大学特聘讲座教授):清末民初的文学文化
吴盛青(香港科技大学人文学部教授):现代文学中的情感研究
Module III: “Affect Studies and Modern Literature”
To be held from July 9 to July 14. This module examines the evolution of modern emotion in literature, exploring how emotions are expressed and transformed across different media cultural realms. It features:
Jianhua Chen (Distinguished Visiting Professor at Fudan University): Literary Culture during the Late-Qing and Early Republican Period
Shengqing Wu (Professor of Chinese Literature at the HKUST): Affect Studies in Modern Literature
